This Chocolate Energy Balls recipe is the perfect on-the-go snack that is high in protein and easy to make!

Nutrition: Carbs 12.4 g, Protein 2.8 g, Fat 6.2 g


Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Nutricost cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 scoop Nutricost chocolate protein powder
  • 1 and 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Directions:

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Combine chopped chocolate, peanut butter, honey, cocoa powder, salt, chocolate protein powder, old-fashioned oats, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat the mixture until well combined.
  3. Use a cookie scooper to scoop even amounts of dough and roll them into balls. Place on a parchment paper and freeze for 15 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!



Creamy Chocolate Mousse


This Chocolate Mousse recipe is easy to make and deliciously creamy and rich!


Servings: 4


Nutrition: Carbs 32 g, Protein 6 g, Fat 27 g


Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces chopped dark chocolate
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 3 tbsp Nutricost cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon light agave nectar
  • For serving: fresh raspberries, whipped cream, chocolate shavings

 

Directions:

  1. Microwave chopped dark chocolate until completely melted. Set aside.
  2. Add avocados, melted chocolate, cocoa powder, almond milk, vanilla extract, agave, and salt to a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Chill mixture for 2 hours or overnight for more thickness.
  4. Serve topped with raspberries, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
