These Delicious 4th of July Recipes Will Have Everyone Begging for Seconds

Grilled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches with Tangy Slaw

Chicken:

2–2.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs 
- 
Salt + pepper 
- 
1 tbsp olive oil 
- 
1/2 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought) 
- 
Optional: Add 1 tbsp Nutricost Date Sugar or Allulose to sweeten up store-bought sauce 
Slaw:
- 
3 cups shredded cabbage (or coleslaw mix) 
- 
1/4 cup mayo 
- 
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 
- 
1 tsp Dijon mustard 
- 
1 tsp honey or sweetener of choice 
- 
Salt + pepper to taste 
Assembly:
- 
Toasted sandwich buns 
- 
Pickles (optional but recommended) 
Instructions:
- 
Season chicken with salt and pepper, and brush with olive oil. 
- 
Grill over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes. 
- 
While chicken grills, mix slaw ingredients in a bowl and chill. 
- 
Slice or shred chicken and pile onto toasted buns with slaw and pickles. 
- 
Serve hot and sticky—just like summer should be.

Sweet & Smoky Baked Beans with Bacon

Ingredients:
- 
2 cans (15 oz) navy or pinto beans, drained 
- 
4 slices bacon, chopped 
- 
1/2 onion, finely diced 
- 
2 cloves garlic, minced 
- 
1/4 cup ketchup 
- 
1 tbsp yellow mustard 
- 
2 tbsp Nutricost Date Sugar or Demerara Sugar 
- 
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 
- 
1/2 tsp smoked paprika 
- 
Salt + pepper to taste 
Instructions:
- 
In a skillet, cook chopped bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.

In the bacon fat, sauté onion and garlic until soft. 
- 
Add all remaining ingredients (including beans and bacon) to a baking dish and stir to combine. 
- 
Bake uncovered at 350°F for 40–45 minutes, until thick and bubbly. 
- 
Serve hot or warm—ideally on a paper plate next to something grilled.

Protein-Boosted Peanut Butter S’mores Dip

Ingredients:
- 
1/2 cup Nutricost Peanut Butter Powder 
- 
1/4 cup water or milk of choice (to make a thick PB paste) 
- 
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate 
- 
1/2 cup marshmallow fluff or mini marshmallows 
- 
Graham crackers for dipping 
Instructions:
- 
In a small bowl, stir together the peanut butter powder and liquid to form a smooth paste. 
- 
In an oven-safe dish, layer chocolate, peanut butter mixture, and marshmallow fluff. 
- 
Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, until hot and gooey. 
-
