Nutricost Organic Pea Protein Powder

I really love this protein. I use it for our family shakes every morning. It blends very well, and the flavor is neutral, which I love. I don’t need to use milk to get a nice consistency anymore unless I want to.

I also use it to make protein cookies for my kids, and everyone loves them!

I pretty much use this protein in everything I want to boost with protein without using animal products. Keep in mind, this is an isolated protein, which means it’s low in carbs and fiber (a plus if you’re watching carbs), but they remove most of the fiber during processing. What I do is mix it with Psyllium Husk (an amazing fiber), and that gives my family everything they need.

And… the price is amazing for an organic, high-quality product. I always grab 2 or 3 of the 5-lb containers when it’s on sale!

I start my day with this protein. I used to eat a balanced breakfast [poached eggs, a small bit of oatmeal, and a cup of tea with sugar in the raw], and did not feel as good as I do with my current breakfast.

This relatively flavorless protein is a wonderful way to begin my day. I mix it with coconut/oat/almond/or whatever alternative milk I have on hand, and it mixes with where there is a silky-smooth finish to the drink.

I highly recommend this product, as it is hands down the least expensive, legitimate [CCOF is a very solid organic standard, unlike many others] organic option for a protein supplement you will find anywhere on the market.
It is very rare when there is a high quality, lost cost, product that makes it to market, and stays on the market. This protein is the best of the best and I cannot say enough good things about this product.

I mix the product with oat milk for a protein drink and found it to be not only palatable, but pleasant. Will definitely continue to order it in the future.

Great for my plant-based breakfast smoothie.
It tastes a bit chalky but it’s pea protein and I don’t have overpowering flavored foods in the smoothie so I expect it.
Grateful that I don’t have sugary or chemical crap in my protein powder.

I really REALLY dont like to complain. But when I first started ordering the Pea Protein from nutricost it tasted pretty good as far as Pea Protein goes. But this last order I got tastes horrible. Which isn't like Nutricost's products because I thoroughly enjoy their products, but this past shipment really fell short as far as taste. I've had the the product since February and have used maybe 4 scoops of it and I can't even hype myself up for another scoop. I dont know if they changed recipe or distributors or what but something is off and unless the flavor gets better then I'll have to fund another product which is a shame cause Nutricost has the best bang for you buck.
