Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate (2:1) Flavored Powder
It has a good flavor but is overly sweet. I bought this and the unflavored and just halfed still very sweet. Im not a fan of sucralose but it is what it is.. I will buy again.. I will half it again.
I’m not sure if it was this product or just my reaction in general. Recommend dose 3g The first day I took 1g I started to feel energized almost immediately. 30 minutes later all my emotions were numb. My body was fine, I didn’t feel foggy, I felt nothing, I was just there. My family was worried that I was so quiet and still. I could carry on a conversation, but felt nothing. Completely emotionless. It was super weird and honestly horrible. I had a slight headache later that night. I figured I was just sensitive so I took 1/4g the next day to work out. (Barely changed the color of my water) I felt very focused at the gym. It did give me some energy and maybe strength. Then it started to wear off I got moody, irritable and a headache. I searched everywhere for information and couldn’t find anybody reacting that way in any science article or any reviews on Amazon. Reddit did have some people saying they had bad reactions but they were hard to find. Be careful this can cause bad reactions in some people. I wanted to write this here so you’re not caught off guard like I was. I truly hope this works for you, but also don’t assume it is as safe as it’s made out to be. I don’t even want to think about what would have happened if I would have taken the full dose.
I've been using this product (plain, blue raspberry, and fruit punch) for a few years and it's been great. This time the powder looked a bit different (used to be pure white now has a blue tint). When mixing it used to make a blue liquid that tasted good with a slight sourness. Now it turns blue and foams up a lot while tasting more sour than before. It doesn't seem to have the same level of effect that it used to. I tried using it for a month to see if I'd get used to it or of the lack of effects were just my imagination. I'll try again for benefit of doubt but if it's the same I'll change brands.
