I got this for use as an appetite suppressant, and it works pretty well for that purpose. Though, I did notice that there is a limit for how long it does this that subsequent doses won't fix; so if I take this around noon, I'll be hungry again between 1:30PM-2:00PM, and taking more won't curb my hunger. However, I trust the safety of using this more than any other appetite suppressant, so I'm fine with its limits.The best way I can describe the way it suppresses my appetite is that it makes water feel more filling.. glucomannan rapidly expands upon contact with water, so it's important to drink at least a glass of water when taking these capsules. I get nervous about drinking enough water when I take these, so I overshoot it by drinking at least 2/3 of my 32oz water bottle..often I'll actually finish it lol. So drinking that much water almost definitely contributes to how well this works as an appetite suppressant, but my hunger is gone for longer with the capsules than when I just drink that much water alone.
