I've used this product for a couple years now, as and herbal antibiotic. It's called cat's claw because it comes from a root that looks like a cat's claw. It tends to work kind of slow, but it builds and strengthens your immune system. As to how much you take, use common sense. Too much of anything is not good. I take 2000MG/DAY. Watch your body doesn't absorb simply flushes out. The only tasty would have is if the capsule dissolved in your mouth are you actually been into it. Then it might taste icky. It's not designed to be a pain reliever. Strictly an antibiotic. It works for me.
