This beta glucan powder comes in a plastic container and is made from mushrooms. This is a good value for this type of powder. This is easy to mix in smoothies or juices and a great immune modulating supplement.

Taste horrific. But otherwise seems okay

I can't eat oats due to FODMAP but I can eat this oat fiber type product. It's not made from oats, but instead derived from some type of yeast organism. It tastes like heavy chemicals, but the flavor is easily masked because the portion is so small. I don't know if it reduces cholesterol.

Beta Glucans have so many benefits for the human body and is a superb fiber supplement. It is a heart healthy fiber found in mushrooms and oats with a lot of science to substantiate its benefits.I am giving this particular product 5 stars for quality alone. I specifically like this product because it is not in a capsule, which I need to open and empty any way. It is easy to mix with my dogs food and she does not seem to mind it.
