Nutricost Calcium Lactate

I've been using a calcium tablet (citrate I think) for a while but I think that the tablets are very slow to dissolve and absorb because the effects are questionable. I also know that many forms of calcium don't absorb well, or aren't utilized well, which is a concern because unused dietary calcium contributes to plaque deposits on your artery walls. So, take a minimal amount of calcium and only in the best form you can get. Actually, that form is broccoli and kale, but those aren't really convenient supplements.I have a few uses for this.First, I want to add the powder to my own electrolyte formula for intensive workouts, because I can't stand the sugar, sweeteners, flavorings and dyes in commercial electrolyte drinks. This seems to work for that, but I need to use half a capsule (at most).Second, I use this combined with magnesium (biglycinate, preferably) as part of a sleep formula at night, which seems to work well, but again - half a capsule.Third, as part of a long-term health regimen supporting heart and blood factors, which will become issues for me eventually, but I'm probably getting it from the first two uses.

I've been getting my calcium from eating dairy, but find my body doesn't tolerate it as well as it used to. These calcium supplements are clearly marked vegan. I like that as that is what I purchase as I am a vegan. The dosage is three, and although the capsules are on the larger side, they still go down easy. So they are easy to swallow and very slippery to do so. Again on the larger side, but still easy to take. They are tasteless in the mouth, tasteless when you swallow them and there is no aftertaste. So I like this.
