Why did you pick this product vs others?:

I have been trying out a multitude of plant based protein shakes in the last few years, and this is definitely a top three favorite. Some brands leave you with a very, heavy, thick drink and so you have to add in a lot of extra milk. That's not the case with this. One scoop gives you the perfect viscosity with about 8 oz. of soy milk. It's not cloyingly sweet. The flavor isn't heavy or over done. Some other protein shakes I have to force down, but this was the perfect balance of flavor. It was very easy to mix, and dissolved without leaving any clumps on the side of my cup. At 20 g of protein in one scoop, it's fantastic. The bottle itself is gigantic. I was not expecting it to be this big, so you definitely get a lot of value for your money.

Protein content:
​20 g per scoop, and when you add soy milk, that bumps it up to 28-30 g

Taste:
​I really enjoyed the taste! A lot of other brands are too sweet or overpowering, but this was just right. You didn't feel like you were drinking a thick milkshake.​

Sugar content:
One gram of sugar seems very low to me, so I'm happy with that

Mixability:
It was very easy to mix, and dissolved without leaving any clumps on the side of my cup.

Quality:
The ingredients seem to be high quality and Nutricost is a brand I've bough from before and trust.

Value for money:
This container is huge! And considering you only need one scoop per cup, this is going to last a long time. Great value!

We use protein powder all the time and I feel like we've tasted it all--but this chocolate PB flavor is really delicious! I love that it's vegan, so my vegan family members can enjoy it, too. It gets really frothy and fluffy when blended in our Vitamix; not sure how well it mixes when it's shaken. It's fine mixed with water but it's downright amazing mixed with oat milk and a banana. Its price is fair for the volume you get and the quality is fantastic! Highly recommend.

A vegan protein powder. As a non vegan, I honestly didn't expect much but I'm always open to try these because a little less whey and dairy can't hurt anyone.

I was floored with the flavor on this. It is deliciously and honestly, the price per serving is pretty great. It is a slightly higher calorie per serving vs some whey alternatives or other vegan powders, but this one has a bit more than just protein going on in it. And for the extra couple calories, it really shines in its flavor.

The texture, mixability and the fact that it readily dissolves and doesn't just settle to the bottom we're all great. With the suggested liquid, you get something like a frappe texture if I had to describe it some way. It's not overly thick, but not as thin as water.

Nutricost continues to impress me.

This Nutricost protein powder that I received well matches the description and comes in a huge 5 pound container, which is way bigger than most brands I have used before which is a pro and a con at the same time. The chocolate peanut butter flavor took me a little time to get used to as it has kind of a burnt taste at first, but after a few tries it grew on me. I’ve used Muscle Milk, Orgain, and Kirkland powders before and this feels about the same quality. It mixes well, isn’t overly chalky, and works especially well for Ninja Creami protein ice cream. The only downside to me initially is the price. It’s definitely on the higher end and feels like a big investment if you’re not sure you’ll like the flavor. But considering the size of the tub, it makes sense.
